So I recently got married!! Well not so recently, we are quickly approaching our 1 year anniversary. Traditionally the 1 year the gift is of paper. So to challenge myself, and to get a gift complete, I am making for my husband all the NHL logos out of paper. This will give them a 3D effect and I'll get it framed so he can hang it in his man cave. Some of them will be easy peasy, but have you seen some of those logos :faint: (...all those little details...) Also we just recently got a puppy :heart: he is so cute and cuddly, I might just have to sacrifice some sleep!

So I have been away for a really long time. Not being part of a group made it really hard to put aside time and do some art. Then my knife broke and I couldn't find replacement blades anywhere. Then I got married. So now I really have no reason not to get back into it! I went and bought a new knife (replacement blades for my old ones were more expensive then the starter pack???). Now just need some inspirational new ideas for pieces! I think I might take proper pictures of my old work as a start! Hugs & Kisses

So I can't believe how much I have been inspired to make art since coming on deviantART more frequently. I have started making pictures using paper cuttings, and it is a lot of fun! The only problem is when you cut out something small and misplace it, then either you spend forever to find it, or re-cut the piece. Also I was recently given a tablet, the only thing is that it didn't have the cord to connect it to the computer. So sadly until I get that I wont be able to try all the tutorials I have been saving.
